Meet Gladys the Turtle

  • By Jack Skeen
  • In Blog

Most of you know me as a coach for executives and high performing teams.  You may or may not know that I was the lead author of The Circle Blueprint, which brings many of the coaching principles I have learned over the years to everyone who is interested.

Children would also benefit from learning how to build more effective lives.  In fact, the younger, the better.  Hence, Gladys the Turtle, my first children’s book that is newly published.

This is the story of Glady who as a young turtle never considered the need for a shell.  She loved jumping rope, playing in the stream and dancing.  One day she got her feelings hurt by some turtles that had shells.  She was so hurt and sad.  Learn what she did that didn’t work and how she finally solved her problem of not feeling safe.

I need your help.  Gladys is listed on Amazon.  The more people who simply click the link  and check out the book, the more visibility Gladys will have on the Amazon platform.  Perhaps you, your family, friends and network would take on the “Clicking for Gladys Challenge”.  You don’t have to buy the book to make a difference.

But. you may want to preorder a copy if you have a young child, grandchild or have a friend who does.  You could order one for yourself so you would have a reason to smile on a gloomy day.

Thank you so much.

Jack
